I’m so sorry you’ve had a tough couple years, but it’s so exciting that you’re about to start a fresh chapter in your life! I recently had a similar rough patch and hope some of this advice helps:
Do what you love, the things that make you feel like “you” again!
Surround yourself with people who care about and support you, who think you’re beautiful inside and out, who give you the space to bloom and grow at your own pace, who accept your emotions.
Be kind to yourself. Check in with yourself. You don’t have to do anything you’re not ready for, and it’s okay to not be okay.
Treat yourself. Bubble baths, movie nights, a pretty new dress, a fresh haircut. Small gestures to put a spring in your step.
And on this journey, always remember to phrase your goals as “I WANT to be/feel/do” rather than “I SHOULD be/feel/do.” This will naturally drive you forward instead of making you feel like you’re ever coming up short.
