Has your Bipolar improved or worsened since onset?

I’m not a reliable narrator but I’d say better, only through luck. I do try and avoid triggers as much as I can (stress, shitty relationships etc) because my episodes tend to be triggered by my cptsd. But “tend to” is a loose understanding of it all which is why I say luck. I’ve had almost a year since my last rough manic episode but I feel like I’m stabilizing. Exercising and eating well helps me (but I was diagnosed with food allergies that I didn’t know about so my body was reacting negatively to the shit I was eating in an abnormal way). I got a better job & moved to a different city. So there’s definitely things I’ve been doing to help myself but man do I think 87% of it is luck. Was formally diagnosed in 2021 but suffered undiagnosed since at least 2015. Currently unmediated while I’m being worked up for a neuro disorder. Feel lucky but worried I’ll be caught off guard
