Your Caloric Intake?

Apple is high too. My boyfriend used to use an Apple Watch and converted to a Garmin pretty recently and the numbers are lower.

When I converted from a Fitbit to a Garmin a couple years ago-while in the midst of getting really in shape and training for triathlons-I was pretty horrified by the drop in numbers (like, was about to try to return my Garmin for being a liar).

Many hours of research later I accepted that Garmin was likely the accurate device and adjusted my expectations accordingly.

Does 500 calories a week in inaccuracy do much harm? Probably not for most. But if you’re really crunching numbers to lose weight, and counting heavily on calories burned during exercise to get there, this could matter.
