Has your class ever made the teacher cry? What happened?

6th grade. Our teacher was so sweet and kind but I guess it was Friday afternoon and the class- consisting of a bunch of usually well behaved kids- suddenly turned really loud and rowdy and this poor teacher was at a total loss. We were riling each other up and completely ignoring her increasingly desperate pleas for us to calm down. The chaos must have gone on for 30 minutes. I will never forget how loud and intense it was. Eventually someone threw a pencil case and it hit her on the head at which point she just gave up, crouched on the floor behind her desk and started crying.

Some 15 years later I spent a summer teaching kids (I normally teach adults) and it was awful. I never cried or lost control but wow do those little shits get on your nerves sometimes. I admire teachers who teach kids because that shit is not easy, even on a good day.
