"You have that look in your eyes. From the forest. When you called me a monster."

It doesn't really matter. What if I told you about a similar character in a fantasy series of novels? A man, barely in his 20s with massive amounts of plot protection who in his first novel ends up killing 2 out of 12 millenia old chosen ones AND their armies, (all IN THE SAME CHAPTER) people who completely trashes his mentor? The star wars fandom would be completely apoplectic if Rey did anything close to this caliber. Thing about this other guy is that he has no clue how politics or life works, and is meant to be the one to unite the world against some kind of evil dark lord and all his armies.

Rey definitely has great power, now she just needs great responsibility to make her interesting.
