You can certainly accuse Germany of a lot. But no one here is trying to make the holocaust forgotten. Far from it. We put a huge memorial for it right next to the most recognisable landmark of our capital, seen by god knows how many tourists every day..... The holocaust is in every school curriculum - multiple times. I could go on here. There is no way to live in Germany and not be reminded of the holocaust a couple of times every year. So it's far, far from being forgotten.

Basically all Germans (even the far right blindly patriotic idiots) accept that our ancestors did terrible things. And we try to learn from it and to never repeat that history. God knows why Turkey can't do the same with the genocide in Armenia.
