In your opinion how many miles on a bike does a “beginner” motorcyclist have to accumulate w/o any errors or crashes to where you would say “he or she gots it, this individual is a fast learner.” Or are there too many factors to even justify this as a question?

I'll bite.
In the early 1990s I was told that "the statistics" say that if you make it 2 years as a primary motorcycle rider without wrecking, then you are slightly safer on a bike than in a car. That's because you're the kind of person who takes safety on the road seriously. The last part I believe, the rest is mostly bullshit.
Generally if you're deadly serious about committing yourself to mastery of all aspects of safely operating a motorcycle on-road, then you're moving in the right direction.
Training can't teach you to be the cream of the crop when it comes to understanding how people act on the road, when and where they do what they do, and your personal ability to counter those elements.
If you're doing this and feel anything except an unshakable confidence in yourself, and your superiority over everyone else on the road then you are not in this group.
