Well the game would be really short if they did that. And anyways, the whole game is very small in scope. It’s just a (phenomenal) combat system in various showcases, with an RNG gun system. If you don’t enjoy the core combat loop, then I don’t see why moving on to the next stage would be enjoyable. And the story won’t be satisfying either, as there isn’t much going on there.

One thing that took me a while to get with that game is that your run really depended on getting a good gun (especially in the late game when guns get super OP)

Anyways, I do get that in some ways it’s just more satisfying to beat the game, even if you don’t really enjoy it.
