In your opinion, what is the friendliest country in Europe?

I've never been to Germany but every single German I've ever met abroad has been great.

Like really great. I went travelling for a while and I found if I was in a pinch there was nearly always a German traveller keen to help out. I was camping and got caught in the rain, lone German invites me into his tent to wait for the rain to finish. I was on a beach just resting my feet, German comes over and offers a beer. I was obviously alone at a hostel, Germans invite me over for drinks. Germans have noticed my inferior knife sharpening skills and offered advice. Germans have taught me fishing knots and other very useful stuff.

Not in an intrusive way, not in a pushy way but in a genuinely friendly and often very useful way I had the best experience of German people abroad and if I ever find myself in any sort of need again I'm going to hope there's a German nearby.
