In your opinion, will Urza ever make a reappearance?

While from a storyline perspective, Neowalkers are the ultimate fallout of the Brothers' War, one has to remember that the real reason that they exist is that WOTC wanted planeswalkers to be relatable main characters. In Planeswalker, the audience is meant to relate to Xantcha, not Urza. In the rest of the Weatherlight saga, we inhabit a variety of different characters (mainly Gerrard, iirc), but never again are we meant to identify with the godlike Urza. Hell, even in The Brothers' War, once he is introduced, Tawnos is the one that is the proxy for the reader.

The neowalkers were created to be the primary protagonists, not insane forces of nature that the protagonists had to try to weather. So if Urza's character were ever to return for some reason, he'd be a neowalker. And I guarantee you that the vast majority of people who want him back would not be satisfied with that.

Also, re: Phyrexia, with the exception of The Thran and Apocalypse, Yawgmoth himself wasn't really a character. Just someone who was in the background, who was ostensibly giving the Phyrexians their marching orders. Gix was the true villain for the books he was in. In Time Streams, it was a faceless horde. I can't say much about how menacing the New Phyrexians are, because I read The Quest for Karn, and it was a steaming pile. The concept of the white-aligned Phyrexians, though, I think is great. Also, I'm in general just a huge fan of Lady Gaga Elesh Norn, from what I've read in the Planeswalker's Guides. I think, given enough power (and half-decent writing, but that's a different problem altogether), she can be just as compelling a villain as Gix.
