Wowzers, guess we're going there.

firearms are not "guy shit". The person who taught me how to build glocks and how to shoot while moving, run VTAC drills, and generally use firearms effectively is a woman, she's the most experienced firearms instructor I've ever met and I guarantee she's more capable than you are. I'd also note that transgender people enlist in military service at nearly 3x the rate of the general population. If you think proficiency with firearms in combat is supposed to be reserved for cisgender men, that opinion is not based in fact.

I did not "use to be a guy". I used to be, and in certain ways still am, intersex. Biologically I was born neither male nor female. People like me make up nearly 18% of the population, and we're generally treated as having a "disorder" when the real issue is that the idea of a gender binary is unscientific. Intersex people who are not forced to undergo medical procedures in order to fit a binary gender have no difference in life expectancy or quality of life from the rest of the population, while those who are "treated" live on average 23 years less than the general population.

If you think my choice to be biologically a binary woman is odd, you should see the unconsensual medical interventions I was prescribed growing up to try and "force" me to be biologically male. Those were horrific. My choice to reverse them is mine, and mine alone. If you have a problem with it, that's your issue.

while this may be a somewhat new concept to you, I guarantee there are and have been transgender people in your life.
