So you're at median... or below median. What should you do? [advice from a 2L]

I don't want to seem like I'm coming in just to say something against the curve, but this is a dumb post.

For most schools, big law is only available to those at the very top of the class anyways so even being above median is often not going to be enough. But for a lot of top ranked schools, if you interview well and show commitment to the market I absolutely know people that have been able to still get big law. As far as the advice goes - do law review or moot court - those activities are only really available to those in a position that could get biglaw anyways. I just don't feel like this is a very constructive post. It ends with a nice note, but it's written by someone that has recently struck out of getting big law (or it would be an even weirder post) and I feel like it purports more wisdom than it should.
