YSK That chiropractic spinal manipulation has been found to be causally linked to stroke as well as cervical cord oedema and carotid artery dissections.

What are you talking about? There are proven benefits to the interventions that MD and DO physicians perform, whether medical or surgical. There are zero proven benefits of chiropractic manipulation.

Real physicians weigh the risks and benefits when deciding on a treatment and they use available and current research to make a safe, effective decision with their patient. Chiropractors' entire philosophy is based on a magnetic healer (see this guy's post) and his delusion. There is zero evidence supporting how spinal manipulation would be beneficial from a physiologic standpoint, and there is zero evidence supporting that it even is beneficial. However, there is copious literature describing the risks of spinal manipulation. So chiropractors perform an intervention that has zero known benefit and but that has known moderate-high risk.

Do you see the difference? It's honestly pathetic that you would support them and you should be ashamed for saying it is OK for infants to be seen by "non-quacky crack pot chiropractors".

THEY'RE ALL QUACKS AND CRACK POTS.
