I've been following this motherboard on/off since launch, and I've always heard people discussing problems with the BIOS. It could've just been people unfamiliar with it, or legitimate concerns - so far it seems like the former. As for the other issues, the audio seemed like a common problem (or was, assuming at launch) and the occasional person reports 120C+ VRM temperatures (the mounting pressure issue). Other than that, I've seen people have trouble with XMP profiles. Apparently G.Skill 3200C14 isn't on the QVL list?

So far it seems like the motherboard is in a good state right now, which is reassuring! Was originally considering the Maximus X Hero, but the Gaming 7 is clearly superior IMO.
