Thanks, but I like my own Zanpakuto in Greek names.
Nekriko Forrs - roughly translated, Funereal Light.
This is just one out of my own... "army" of shinigami/vizard mixes, all of whom I gave greek-named Zanpakutos. It would be my personal choice if I were to be in that army.
Abilities:
Shikai:
"Shine" - blade begins to a glow a bright white, capable of cutting nearly anything.
"Reach" - blade length extends to desired length, maximum range of 1km.
"Dissipate" - blade fades and forms orbs of light/lasers, that can be directed to attack an enemy.
"Flash" - emits a bright flash of light, similar to a flashbang or camera flash.
"Sear" - Fires a pulse of white burning energy that can attack enemies at further ranges.
Bankai: "Deathly display of Funereal lights" - all ambient light becomes weaponized and can be harnessed as part of my blade. My attacks are organized according to "Displays", as though you were attending a lightshow or laser show.
However, this zanpakuto is not alone. He has a dark twin -
Zooi Skion - roughly translated, Living Shadow
Usually not used until I am really backed into a corner. (based on how I have described the above, that seems unlikely to happen)
Shikai:
"Bind" - dark vines extend from the shadows, gripping the opponent and inhibiting movement
"Pierce" - dark blades shoot out from the shadows at the opponent.
"Animate" - creates a shadow copy of myself, or the opponent, or of anyone I desire. Does not have my abilities or the opponent's, but serves mostly as a distraction.
"Meld" - allows me to fade in a shadow to avoid detection.
Bankai: Master of Living Shadows - grants me a variety of shadow-based attacks, similar to previous shikai skills but on a much larger scale. All ambient shadows become my weapon.
When both are bankai-ed together, basically. Everything the light touches and doesn't touch is a place I can attack from.
And I gain one final ability - can create tangible light-projections (similar to the Holodeck of Star Trek) using both light and shadows. These light projections allow me to pull of tricks similar to Kyoka Suigetsu, except my illusions do cause damage if they cut or hit you, and I can create illusionary clones of people based on my knowledge of them with this. Of course, the strength of my clones can still be overcome if I lack the reiatsu to maintain them, and my knowledge of a person will not be complete and if they surprise me with new abilities or are stronger than I expected, they'd overcome my clones.
Which brings me to my final form. My hollow mask and 3rd "zanpakuto" which is not really a zanpakuto, but an arrancar blade. My mask is split down the middle, black and white, both sides mirror each other but are color-inversed. As I give in more to my hollow side, the Arrancar blade forms, and in resurreccion - following a ghastly transformation, I split into two beast - a shadowy hooded angel carry a scythe (representing the shadow), and a gargoyle enveloped in light, with nails that slice through everything similar to the shikai (representing the light). Both have their own consciousness, but have a kind of shared vision (similar to rinnegan) allowing for coordination of attacks, yet better multitasking since it is.. 2 brains now.
