Zelda Guardian Sword

No, I understand. Mechanically, fundamentally, visually - it's a masterpiece of a game. But it straight up just isn't designed for perpetual gameplay. I mean, all of anything in any videogame is "meaningless" when you break it down to the base level. I'm not trying to say that.

But at least in something like MMO's, or Diablo 3, you have a semblance of "meaning" in regards to continuing playing after you "beat" the game. Breath of the Wild doesn't have anything like that. I'm not baffled if someone keeps playing Diablo 3 or something for 200+ hours after completing the game because I mean, yeah, that's what it's made for. Even if you could question "Why are you just grinding for stronger gear to fight monsters to get better gear to grind for stronger gear to fight stronger monsters to get better..." - at least that's what you're supposed to do.

I'm not saying someone shouldn't play Breath of the Wild for 300 hours. I'm just saying I actually don't understand how they possibly could. I mean I spent only 60 hours beating it (taming all Divine Beasts & defeated Ganon) and that 60 hours included what I perceived as an excessive amount of exploration on my part. I mean I have already found nearly all of the Shrines as it is, which is all that's left to do after defeating Ganon. I am just saying I literally don't understand how it's possible to spend another 150-250 hours just finding an additional 30 Shrines.
