Is Zen a Treatment for Mental Illness?

Why did Linji stay with Huangbo for so long, when he knew this 1000x better than you do from the outset of their meeting?

why do birds... suddenly appear....

Not really. You're about 100 posts too late to be involved at that level. You are part of the problem that's being addressed, not part of the beginning as to how this happened.

oh noes! you've fallen and you can't giddyup. amazing how fast i went from fine to part of the problem. did that also happen ~100 posts ago? why the charade? address the problem if you've got the solution, stop wiggling like a worm on a hook. oh wait you can't fix it, cuz it ain't broken.

This happened months ago, it's just going into effect here. You've already been rezoned. These conversations are the pamphlets letting you know that it's been decided.

lol no songhill beat you to this ruse like 3 years ago or something. dunno only been 9months for me. also he identified me as mara's henchman wayyyyy faster than you did,,,,

Nixon probably has some of the most influence over the forum, btw.

and yet when i click the X it all disappears. so much for that.

Likewise, why did Baizhang still school Huangbo even though both knew? Baizhang brought up the story; it was already too late for Huangbo. But good for Huangbo finding a slap in there to better himself.

welcome to the sword sharpening party. have some tea!

I would: abandon your word "preaching", it flattens things reflexively and is incorrect; start paying very close attention to effect and cause; realize the lesson that you can't ignore causality even if you are free from it; start caring about the people around you since everything matters; realize that not ignoring means there are also people that you can't care about, because that too would lead you into falling into causality; realize that there is always a dotted line between what you are involved in and what is not your concern; and look to use your remaining lifespan to develop yourself and your Zen and prepare for death.

you got it, teach.
