Zillow is aiming to kill real estate agents

I bought my first house fsbo and it was actually priced reasonably. I actually think they could have gotten much more in fact if they had marketed it appropriately. They took crummy photos, had the wrong details listed (on appraisal we found it was about 200 sq ft larger than what they stated due to improvements, that’s huge money) and it was generally difficult to see the house because they were unresponsive.

Now if they used an agent they would have gotten more, but paid more of course. But I wish they had because they were a nightmare through the closing process.

I’m glad we bought that house but a lot of sellers would benefit from someone being involved in the sale because most people are idiots.
