I am not a fan of construction either, but tking someone is much worse.

I don't like either. Both are scummy tactics that shit on everyone elses' experience. So if one shitty play style is solved with another shitty play style, I can't really get upset over that.

But I will never go down the route of logging in to the other faction to tk that person, that is just as low as cheating.

It's not actually a cheat. The developers made friendly fire a part of the game, and logging in and out of different factions just like they made construction a part of the game. Is it a shithead thing to do? Absolutely! Just like constructing a base that takes away the enjoyment from everyone who attacks it, or everyone who doesn't attack it before the continent locks and ruins their fights. It's a lose/lose.

There are a lot of playstyles which are seen as bad or weak, but there is allways a counter to it, even construction.

Absolutely! So far the counters are spending 10 minutes getting chunked into pieces by auto turrets, spending 10 minutes left clicking on walls in a tank, or logging into a different faction to destroy the base from the inside. All are shitty counters to a shitty dynamic. All are allowed by the mechanics of the game and therefore tacitly approved of by the devs as valid.

If you want to stop them from capping the continent, deal with it, grab a few friends and pop that base

Because it is time-consuming and hold zero potential for enjoyment. Kind of like work without pay. Why would I want that experience in a video game? Why would anyone? The answer is that most people don't. Hives go largely ignored for the most part on Connery at this point because of that.

The thing is, stuff like construction is in the game, so either deal with it or ignore it, but don't cry afterwards that no one killed that hive.

No one is "crying" about anything. I'm voicing my opinion that construction shits on the game, whether you attack them or leave them alone, the end result is the same: irritation and reduced enjoyment of the game. But I could also say the same thing about 4th factioning:

Swapping factions to destroy said hive is part of the game as well, and from all the TK threads I've seen on Reddit, it's here to stay for a good long while. So for all the construction shitters that cry about it:

"either deal with it or ignore it, but don't cry afterwards"
