I said it, let me creep back a little bit now suddenly everyone is reading it. I mean, we allow the politicians the same, was my point. Of course I don't know if Bernie would have won, but it would not have been just about power and power alone. That doesn't belong in the free world and Hillary was part of that.

Also, I rant about this because I care. I feel like 'we' lost something and reason and power are in great conflict now. The climate crisis and its denial by your president is scaring not just your Bernies I can tell you. As most Europeans I identify more with Democrats than Republicans. From my perspective in between two nations I've visited and admired, Republicans are to the USA what the ayatollahs are to Iran. And it has very little to do with religion. The problem with Hillary is that she offered no alternative, but the exact same product with a different ideological flavor of the year, because caring about values is naive in this world.

I hope it's true, what I think: that somewhere in a cloud of votes, this voice of 'no, we do do care about values' as a statement towards the DNC that values do matter in more than just the spoken sense, but also in the actions sense.
