why do zoomers act so weird about age

Well that's easily explained by 17 year olds being stupid know-it-alls, but I think it's really dumb to put so much stock in generations in general because zoomers have a lot more in common with the generation above them than most do. Like late millennials are 26-30 right now and I don't feel like we're really that different from zoomers, I have great conversations with my zoomer cousins and friends. I think phones unironically have a lot to do with it. People my age texted in middle school and got the first smartphones in high school, which is a lot different than getting a smartphone in your mid 20s like older millennials.

also the sharp age gradations mellow out after 25, I feel. at that age, all the rites of passage are done and your brain is developed, and you can empathize with a much wider range of people.
