This is an imperative result of the globalisation. Religion in western world declined significantly after 2 major events, the scientific revolution and the world wars, people lost faith in religion after seeing disasters and misery in wars and they found the alternative in science that explain the irony of life. Ironically we are having both events in Arabic world.. war is everywhere meanwhile there is a start of a scientific revolution specially after the spreading if internet, people know can see the world thru their screen and they are receiving big amount of facts. You can check r/exmuslims most of the followers are arabs and specialy north Africa (why north Africa cuz we are more open-minded than middl1 east) . and they are not leaving religion because of hate ir whatever, most of them are leaving it just because they are more convinced by science.
