After you mentioned this post, I watched the actual video. I'm actually surprised -- you're right. Mark isn't even that bad of a musician. In retrospect, I probably should've known better, but combined with the terrible craftsmanship of the propaganda videos and genuine confusion in the comments, I was inherently fooled.

I agree. I do think they should've shown the initial song and then either make a sarcastic transition into the edit, or downright admit that what they were about to show was an edit.
