okay i'm going to give you legit advice, put a pause on your revenge-seeking.

take all the information you have on them and FILE A POLICE REPORT. otherwise it won't be considered a crime and you're shit outta luck. while you're at it, report them to the ftc too.

if you sent a wire transfer or check through your bank: contact them if you haven't already, tell them it was fraudulent and have them flag it and reverse it. show up with the proof if you need to.

if you used a service like western union: then you need to contact them in addition to telling your bank. tell them it was fraudulent, have them reverse the transfer.

if you used a service like paypal/cashapp/etc: report it as fraudulent to the company and ask them to reverse the payment. if you used a credit card, report it as fraud to the issuer/bank and, yep you guessed it: ask them to reverse the damn charge.

if you sent cash through usps, contact inspection service (877-876-2455) and get them to intercept it. if it was a different company, contact them instead.

if you gave them any information about yourself you should freeze your credit and open a 90-day fraud alert. https://www.identitytheft.gov/ if you need more info.
