I want to state something very clearly before the speech, Wilkos has had trouble uploading his speech to The Reddit for some reason. So I, as his running mate, have been given permission to submit his speech. If he later on, submits his own speech here, I will remove this post to make up for his. Also note that these are not my words, and are his.
I am WilkosGaming and this is my speech for Chancellor of Nova Balreska:
Naval View
I left Nova few months ago because I felt that the current leadership, at that time, was too inactive in game and I felt that they were not doing their jobs properly. I did a lot of the work communicating with the new navy-members and getting a lot of them into discord to make sure they knew when patrols, training/events were being held, like my job as Admiral was required. I, plan to actually do some of this work myself - to ensure that the people we're getting are true and not pirate. In this, I am a good listener to suggestions, comments and of-the-like from Navy members, as their opinion, dictates on how the Navy will, not only feel, but run as a whole. Part of the suggestion examples, could be Medals or an Academy. Both of which I plan to make happen.
What I plan to do. (Faction relations, tasks etc...)
I believe that an academy, will be very useful to train new recruits to make sure they know their basics of ships positions and discipline etc. And now I know you may be thinking, that this Academy will be, "Another Whitecrest One" but I hope for this Academy to not only be a "filter" of trolls and pirates, but to actually teach and train the members of the Navy to know how The Navy works.
Who my Running Mate is, and Why I've chosen him
As you may know, I picked aaron28627 as my running mate. The reason is because he is a good listener to people if they need help with anything that they are having problems with. He is very active and is a good leader of which he has shown leadership and skill qualities, in my group, The Culper Ring and being an Officer in Whitecrest and Nova. A great and some-what difficult feat to accomplish in both Navies. Some of you dislike Aaron, but I promise you, he is going to make amends and correct the wrong of thoughts and opinions about him. He will not let you down.
Last Words
From my past experiences, I have seen the difficulties of a Navy and have been through them myself too. I want Nova Balreska to grow, become stronger and have more self-respect. A lot of which is currently lacking. This is why I believe I am worth your vote.
