With a guild as big as Welcome it's inevitable that there are going to be some decent folk and some toxic players, but it seems to me that the majority of that guild are obnoxious jerks. I also have a few real life friends who have been playing on and off for a year and when I brought this up they also said they cringe when they see Welcome players in their party.

Don't get me wrong, I have come across some solid, nice players from the guild. But when you have a guild that is 1000 strong on a small server like this, is there really any sense of guild comradery? Anyone from that guild might as well be a random unguilded member. The skill and/or attitude of players ranges drastically from great to horrid and you never know what you're going to get when you see a Welcome player in your group. Doesn't a guild like that just take away from the server by the sheer fact that 1/2 the horde population is in one guild and g chat might as well be world chat?

It is nice to see that there are players out there who are hoping to help one another out (as I'm sure /uWelcoem is trying to do) but if I were to ever have an inkling to join a guild like Welcome there is some serious in house cleansing that should be looked at.

Many members that I have been grouped with just need on everything across the board regardless of any decency to other players. A robe that is a huge downgrade for you and an upgrade for the healer? Guess they needed it more for the vendor gold.

Then there is the personality factor of some of the players. Many seem like they are just trying to pick a fight with anyone and everyone in group. Luckily there really are some good people from Welcome still who I have seen tell these toxic guildies off in party chat for being such jerks to everyone (kudos to those guys), but overall my friends and I really aren't happy campers when we see Welcome members.

Again, there are really some good positive players within the guild, but the bad seems to outweigh the good from what I've experienced.
