All seasons??

You can still have fun on all-seasons. My autox car is also my daily and being a broke college kid I can't afford a second set of rims or some super sitckies. As such, I've run this entire season on BFG Advantage T/A Sports or something like that and other than the usual cornering wear that all tires get when autocrossing they're still plenty of tread left and no damage.

They are less grippy than summer tires especially when they get really hot. My solution was to buy one of those one-gallon garden sprayers from a hardware store and fill it with water. In between runs I'd spray some water on them to cool them off and it made a huge difference.

I wouldn't let the all-seasons discourage you, especially if you on a tight budget like me. You won't be in contention for the fastest time of the day but you'll certainly still have a lot of fun and learn a lot.
