American Visiting London

22 Gladstone Avenue, Feltham. Freddie's childhood home. It's a bit out of the way but London's public transport is outstanding.

It's literally a plain house with a blue plaque confirming it as his home. There is absolutely nothing to do or see thereabouts, it's just tracts of housing under the flight path of one of busiest airports in the world.

It's all a bit like that- you can go to where Biba was, where studios were, you can look at where his flat was in Stafford Terrace, and you can walk the streets of London for hours seeing where Queen did this or that. Most of his favourite eateries have long since changed hands (and one or two really weren't that great when they were open, he really wasn't as refined as all that).

But if you want to do Queen stuff you can read the books and use the maps to do it. Just don't be expecting very much!
