Black Friday Sale Megathread

Random question, hoping someone can answer: In regards to the Target B2G1 cancellation trick, I know that the tax doesn't get recalculated until the item ends up shipping, but what about the shipping? Obviously Target has free shipping over $35, so if you bought 3 books at, say, $20 each, then the initial order qualifies for free shipping.

But if you cancel the two books, then the item left over falls under that $35 requirement. Does Target then charge shipping fees (thereby negating the discount anyway) or does it retain being free from the initial order? I'm asking because I want to get the volume 1 omni of Baltimore, which is at $23.49, but if I do the exploit, if they threw in shipping after I cancel two copies, then having a discount won't even matter.
