Hey Dad, I’m thinking of moving into a place on my own

I’m definitely on the extrovert side and moving into a studio alone is making me nervous because I won’t see a lot of people. I got covid earlier this year so I know I’ll be very cautious about hanging out with people. So far my strategy has been meet in the park and sit in separate social distancing circles with masks on.

Since March I’ve only seen 2 friends and it was 2 weeks ago. I have roommates I get along with and they honestly have been my social anchors. I’m scared about moving out alone during this time...but I told myself it’s worth it if I get a cheap rent controlled studio. Once covid ends idk how cheap studios will be in my city. Also once covid ends I get to see my friends again. Short term pain for long term gain?
