How do I learn to enjoy the outdoors?

Jackdaws are smart. They aren't just instinct-driven machines who assume everything is a nail because all they have is a hammer. I like watching them contemplate whether some specific piece of trash is food or not, squabble each other over a more rare treasure, the way they'll casually hop out of peoples' way like they don't actually care whether they get stepped on. They're funny.

I like watching people because all of them are different from each other, they've made different choices, started with different circumstances, every single one is doing the best they can with what they have at the very moment they're currently living. And they all have different thoughts and opinions about that.

I like taking the brief walk to the store because I get to see what's going on in the city that day. The weather changes what people are wearing, sometimes there's a festival or other thing happening, there's groups of completely different types of people just sharing the same environment while living completely different lives.
