I’m starting .25mg tomorrow and I’m so nervous.

Don't psych yourself out, the people that have a horrible time are usually people who spread the word the fastest and loudest. The majority of people have very mild symptoms, just take care of yourself and you likely won't have many symptoms.

Here's my care routine: 1. Stay hydrated, I drink 80-100 ounces of water a day 2. You will probably get a little gassy, especially in your stomach, sip peppermint tea the first couple days after the injection 3. Don't exclude any food groups, eat a balanced diet focusing on real whole foods, food sources of fiber have been important for me (beans, greens, fruits like pears, apples, berries, whole grains), quality lower fat proteins (fish, turkey, chicken, eggs, yogurt), protein and fiber with breakfast. 4. If you get a headache the day following the injection try eating fiber and sugar, that has worked well for me. 5. If you get nausea have a few things on hand, ginger (I like sushi ginger) or ginger chews, nausea lozenges, peppermint tea, peppermint mints, emetrol, electrolyte drinks 6. Day of and after injection take a magnesium supplement and drink a couple electrolyte drinks like Gatorade 7. Take a multivitamin every day 8. Take a fiber supplement a couple times a week if you are getting bound up 9. Make time to rest, you may be tired a couple days after the shot
