you're right. but dont forget to include the fact that people that are born without luck tend to get fucked by the universe. I mean, only the thought of "if I hang in this ambient with this and that, I may be vulnerable to x and y situation" takes actually a lot of mental power.

I think that overall if you care about yourself you dont gravitate to those ambients (not just the "gangsta"). And to "care about yourself" takes incredibly amounts of happiness. Just think about how well your mind needs to be to think things like that.

I might be wrong, obviously. Its just something that I have thought about before.

Free will for me, like you said, choosing to enter these ambients, its incredible rare. Just think about it, to trully choose you cannot be influencied by external factors. And the lack of luck makes external factors too powerful. For reference, the "luck" that I talk about is simply where you were born, who your parents are (how they are), and good health.

If you were born rich, your parents arent complete assholes, and you got good health, you have the foundations to be happy. Obvisouly not only the 1% is "happy", but I would say that only the 1% has the most chance to be a virtuous person, a happy person, someone that does do all the right choices (or try really hard).

So, for me, it falls under this "theory". She was just thrown there. She didn't choose. It's not her fault, it's the randomness of luck that it is to blame.

Obviously, I could be so so so wrong. Tell me what do you think about this luck thing. One of mine main points of internal debate currently is the question "who do I own my luck to?".

Yes I am quite dumb. Yes I have many of those theories, including one about what would happen if you throw a man in the space in order to explain what earth has to do with humans.

As you can see I have a lot of time in my hands, a lot of useful time. I reached "extreme happiness" not so long ago. And all of it, maybe 97%, is due to luck. The other 3% is one incredible decision that I made 9 years ago. It all lead to here, and its all due to my luck. So who do own my luck to? I dont think that you know the answer but if you feel like giving a shot, be sure that I will think about you.
