This is a good idea but imho not immediate. Syrian and Iraqi Kurdistan might happen but still Turkey would step in and delay that as much as possible. In the meanwhile, I have contacted some politicians/policymakers along with some representatives to talk about this issue. Most of them had no clue as to what I was talking about so I think its a lost cause. It would be great, if we can grant some of them asylum for a while where they can catch their breath and once they get a place to move back to they could do so. The reason why I talk about this at all is that India does not have a coherent refugee policy. There is already a murmur in the left for a quota and a clear policy. At that point, I'd rather have the Yezidis coming in for asylum.
