Why is online dating in India so difficult for non-hot straight guys?

I don't think 'girls' and 'guys' ie women and men are these monolithic entities, so just because I'm a woman, I don't feel I'm in a position to tell you how billions of other women are going to react to something.

Also, stuff like 'cute', 'creepy' etc are highly subjective. Personally I'm already put off if someone says 'cute', lol. I'm an adult and I prefer adult vocabulary such as hot, handsome or whatever.

Anyway, I can't really answer your question. I mostly have / had sex with people I met offline so the whole chat thing didn't really come into play. Different people can be attractive or unattractive for different reasons. For me the number one thing is safety, so if someone appears 'creepy' in the sense that I think they would be unsafe = don't respect boundaries, I'm out, regardless of looks. Ditto if they appear mentally unstable, demonstrate a lack of common sense, no condoms etc.
