Places to stay to enjoy Scottish Highlands

If I was recommending a family member I'd suggest: head for fort william where there's a lovely camp site called red squirrel & a great pub .5 mile away clachaig its called

From there, you can explore the surrounding area (Ben nevis is here, so you'll get your photos of the Highlands)

Also in / near fort william is glen etive with wild camping locations as well as wild dipping in the fresh water pools along the river.

From there I'd head for IMHO the most beautiful place In scotland which is isle of Skye where you'll pass the castle from from frozen en route Eilean Donan

Many lovely place on skye but most people like a photo of the fairy pools & thd face they're not sign posted adds to the wee adventure when finding them.

Personally that would be my box ticker recommendations
