If you mean "everyone is dead" I have never lost my EGO due to that (Otherwise I would've permanently quit the game the moment I got Nothing There) as you can still open up the menu and restart and or kill the game with ctrl alt delete (I remember seeing a streamer do this when WN breached).

If you mean the crashing I have never seen it trigger a crash when touching it in game even when it's your first three times touching it (I've been through numerous restarts, hard restarts, and reinstalls, I can vouch for this. I've heard it can do it when touching it five times but I have spam touched it and had nothing happen other then the insta kill/insta panic/insta breech) it must be in the deployment screen to cause the crash (I've heard of people getting it to crash in game with five touches but I have spam touched the thing and even ran an autoclicker on it once and had nothing happen in game).

The crash will put you back on the day you were on. I have never lost and EGO or employees after the crash or after having the game crash normally. When the game crashes normally it treats it like having the day restarted, this is why people use ctrl alt delete or other ways to kill the game as a way to quickly restart or restart when something like WN or AB breaches.
