Weekly Free-Talk and Questions for r/HomeGym - week of January 01, 2021

Anything I can buy, other than the straight up mineral wool insulation?

I looked at curtains, moving blankets, sound proofing panels, foam for acoustics, that are advertised for sound proofing/insulation... So far, all the reviews I'm reading for these products say they won't block noise from reaching neighbors or control noise from neighbors getting in. They're more More for acoustic quality for a sound studio, not a homegym.

Other things like putting up more dry wall, are prohibitively expensive and not possible since this is just a temporary apartment and I'm planning on leaving in 6 months.

Really just want my bedroom back, but this is looking like a no go :(
