Wizard Communication

I’ve had this conversation with many friends over the years. The wizarding world seems to be primitive in so many ways just for the heck of being whimsical and weird. Think of the time when the story tells us that they have to regularly clean the ministry offices with magic because the communication owls leave droppings everywhere. Like wizards- just switch to emails already. Half of the plots in the entire series is hinged on inaccessible, inefficient and broken down communication between groups. The wizards have this disdain for everything muggle (think of how hard it was to get the Hogwarts express approved because some wizard supremacists didn’t want to use muggle technology) and it really keeps them from progress. Think of how advanced the wizard world could be if they adopted all muggle technology and then used magic to enhance them.
