He said that he wants to keep doing them because he has fun making them and seeing the final product, but he has been losing the motivation to do so because of the pressure by the fans. It's understandable, he has been delivering angry reviews and what he got for that was more hate than before, it's just weird.

As for the schedule....I don't remember much about the video when he announced it, but I do remember him saying it's something they're trying out and that it's not set in stone. The way I see it he saw that people are unsatisfied after the lack of reviews when he was depressed so he made a schedule in order to try to patch things up, but along the way got burned out and when people started hating on him for not delivering the reviews anymore he got defensive. I honestly think both Joe and his fans are being unreasonable in this case. The fans demanded a lot and Joe ended up overextending himself in the hopes of pleasing them which resulted in him being exhausted and the fans feeling betrayed.

I think he disabled comments just to take a break from the negative feedback. We all know he'll enable them in a few weeks, maybe a month or 2 max. it's kind of like putting everything on hold so he and his fans can take a breather and sort things out
