I worked at the most active men’s prison in the state, with the most staff assaults by far. I transferred to chowchilla, it was hell. I left and ran back as fast as I could.

The incompetent staff from top to bottom at ccwf make it impossible to enjoy waking up and going to work. They have most inexperienced supervisors that continuously put their officers (even if they’re all retarded) in unnecessary dangerous situations every day.

There people that work at ccwf are one of two things; afraid of real inmates or want to fuck female ones. Or both.

In all seriousness, if you want to work in an environment with camaraderie, where safety is the number 1 priority, and have somewhat competent leadership work anywhere else than a women’s prison.

But if you want an easy drive, not be able to trust your partners and supervisors, live in a world of high school drama and gossip work at a women’s prison.
