I recently started taking finasteride in a topical solution (0.1%). First dose was 1mL (roughly equivalent to taking 1mg orally), and saw the dreaded sexual side effects the very next day (libido was still there though). Took one more dose before deciding i was sufficiently freaked out enough to just stop. I want to get it out of my system and get back to normal before MAYBE attempting a much smaller dose, maybe .25mL every other day.

But, considering how fast the side effects came on, I'm kinda leery of continuing it at all. The side are gradually going away, but after 3 weeks i'm still not 100% back to normal. Getting sides like that put things into perspective pretty damn quick. ... and topical fin is supposed to be the safer alternative!
