Seriously though, some of those comments make me feel embarrassed to be light skin. Saying we need more dark skin women representation in the media takes nothing away from light skin and mixed women. Saying you will no longer consume media that only depicts light skin and mixed women does not take away from them either. Reverse colorism is not a thing. They sound like white people when you try to talk about race and marginalization. Their needs and feeling always come first, despite the fact they're already benefiting at your expense.
