What are reasons to live?

To undergo the most enlightened spectrum of human experience. There are still places I have to go, like the markets in Istanbul, or the streets of Tokyo. Firsts I haven't had (like sex or driving a car or getting a pay check). We don't view our lives very holistically, so we forget and never appreciate these little details and experiences. Maybe start a journal!!

I think under that umbrella of human experience is to be loved and to feel an uninhibited and reciprocated love, by others but also from yourself. I think loving yourself and wanting to provide for those you love brings purpose to living the best life possible. Sometimes certain loves elude us, but loving feels so delightful that even waiting feels worth it.

Sometimes I'm on the bus, driving through the city and I see so many people all waiting for the pedestrian light to turn green and waiting and waiting and I think for a second about the pointlessness of living just as a self-important blob, waiting and waiting. But I turn around and I'm talking to my friend and we have so much fun and we laugh and we laugh and I'm having the time of my life. And I realise I'm having the TIME OF MY LIFE and that life is actually really amazing, and I'm just focussing on all the existential parts and the amount of study I have to do and the speech I have to write tomorrow and the letter I have to post and the CRAZY amount of study I have to do.. But yeah, overall, we don't recognise the little details that make life better, and I think if we did, then purpose may emerge <3 (As I write this I think I'm going to start a gratefulness journal, hopefully we can all start his journey and write a thing we are thankful for everyday, or just a funny joke we heard)

Also just a minor thing, but something what really motivates me in life, and raises my self confidence and just make me appreciate day to day are compliments, whether they're about a performance or my work or even my appearance. Maybe redditors can look around and choose to offer a genuine compliment everyday!
