This is related to the Liquors44 post, but needed it's own post. This is dated Feb 22, 2004, where Fred is giving his weekend story activities to the UMPD police. He basically goes thru the events of the weekend for his supplemental narrative....

When seemingly finished telling his story, the detective specifically asks Fred at the end of this if he had gone into the liquor store WITH the girls on Saturday night and when....Fred says no at first, then changes it to yes, but is not sure before or after the ABC brewery stop. So Fred, Maura, and Kate were definitely INSIDE the SAME Liquors44, as the one on the liquor store receipt found in the Saturn on 2/9/04.....

Questions....So 2 weeks later, and UMPD is asking about the liquor store visit. This is the first narrative given to UMPD by Fred, and Maura had been missing, so was it Kate that gave a statement to UMPD, that is slightly different? Was the stop into that particular store a necessity for other reasons? Why would UMPD ask this question to Fred? Why was this a crucial question, and does it have anything to do with the receipt found in the car in NH? Then of course comes the clincher.....

Fred remembers the girls walking around looking for wine

Is this the same box of wine found in NH? Is it all redacted because LE wanted the items to match, but they don't? If there was a receipt for the alcohol on 2/9/04, where is the same receipt for the alcohol purchased on 2/7/04? Maybe because the 2 would match EXACTLY????

Surely any investigator would have checked with the employee or owner of Liquors44 who was working there at those times? Why has no one ever spoken about the employee's account of these events? Where are their statements?
