Fear of beginning music production

My advice when it comes to music.

  1. Have a plan B. Shit happens

  2. And pursue yr further education in music. Having certs does help frm reputable university.

  3. You wanna be the best. Its a very competitive market.

  4. Build connections.

  5. Dont limit yourself to music prod, maybe sound engineering etc. Because u need a job end of the day.

  6. Take it as a hobby. But keep on grinding. Build other skillsets thats close to the entertainment industry should music dont work out well.

  7. Do not spend big money on courses etc... enroll in university and not any music prod academy. Unless the certs are worth in market.

  8. Go speak with music graduates. Find out what are they current struggles.

  9. Again work very3 as if you are training for the olympics.

  10. Stay in touch with music/entertainment related companies around the city u live in.

Hope it helps. Remember every industry is tough to get in so again fear your competition ....
