Making Stonr Gravestone 2 will get you 2 points per make, and they only need Stone so while it is a grind - it's at least dependable when next tier gets even more blue points per make. Also if you haven't yet - make sure you study every single gravestone marker - each one gets you a bunch of blue points - to where the cost is basically free to upgrade. Can always create all old grave markers, study then, and then breakdown to common parts.

Stone is stupid simple to get once your unlock quarry.

For science points - kill some bats, turn into pig paper, then white paper, plop into Study Desk.

Can also try to make Glass, and then Glass Beakers but that is very slow and lose ability to use furnace for other things.
