Crappy Shoyoroll Cotton Joggers Sold Out! Lost Faith in the Average I.Q. of BJJ Practitioners! Sorry

That is exactly how I feel. I do agree it is no business of mine how people spend their money, but if you are going to dismiss the guy with such an argument, then the same applies to his opinion. Who gives a crap about what this guy thinks? He is probably just some poor bastard who only wears Fuji.

I have relatives who work in the fabrics business, and most people don't know Shoyoroll aren't the manufacturers of their own Gi, they are simply a brand that outsources production to factories in Pakistan. Their next batch could be made in China for all we know, since they don't own the means of production.

The same factory in Pakistan making Shoyorolls, also makes a range of other gis with the same material and cut, but are just under a different brand. The same thing applies with their pants. All this crap talk about Shoyoroll gis feeling different and being the right cut etc., is akin to one giant placebo effect!

I don't care what you wear or how you spend your money. A lot of people buy things based on name rather than on quality, and that's fine cause that's how consumer capitalism works.

The great thing about BJJ is the guy who only wears Shoyoroll is no different from the guy who only wears Fuji, your ability on the mat transcends what kind of kimono you wear.
