Go on mouse dining website and sign up for alerts for dining reservations if places open up! A must see restaurant is Blue Bayou but food is okay, it’s just located inside the pirates ride so you just see the boats go by and smell the infamous water. It’s a super cool experience. I think lunch has a really good sandwich that I’ve heard a lot about. Also Oga’s cantina is super cool in Star Wars land and the only place that serves alcohol in that side of the park. You must get a dole whip from the tiki area, it’s the best! My tip to you is take lots of breaks at the hotel, your feet will get tired and if you want to stick around for fireworks you should take a long break and find a good spot early to view the firework show. I think genie+ is worth it if you’re going on a weekend but it’s usually extremely crowded in the park and lines can be up to a 3-4 hour wait. They used to have fast passes which would save a lot of time but after Covid they stopped and genie+ and lightning lanes are the new thing. Sometimes it’s worth it because you spend all this money on a trip there and you could spend like half a day in a line when you could be going on other rides too. May is usually a pretty chill month to go but also check the crowd calendar online, because Grad night is most of May/June! Best of luck and have a magical time!!
