My wife is pregnant and due to her works change in insurance we had to put off the first appointment. She is 10 weeks and we have it this week and genetic testing is one of our concerns.

Is the first test, CF I assume, something you need to do before becoming pregnant? From what I read the CVS test is not routine. Is there other tests we should ask about? I think I’m more worried than her because I feel our “window” is super short but then again I’m new to all of this.

Super excited but also extremely nervous as our first planned go around didn’t make it past 7 weeks and this one more or less snuck up on us a few months later. At this point I realize I should have just read all the material even after the loss but I didn’t expect it would happen again so soon.
